A roll-top bath, painted to emulate sienna marble.

Oak grained panels:
MDF frames on plastered walls; painted to look like oak wood panels in this grand room.

Verdigris:
Metal staircase painted to look old & rusty.

Rag-rolling:
Rag-rolled door panels.

Harry Potter:
Marauder’s Map wallpaper.

Projector screen.:
Marking out a cinema screen, for a customer’s media room.

Chalk furniture paint.:
Transforming a wooden fireplace with chalky furniture paint.

Putting up cornice.:
Not usually considered to be a part of a decorator's remit, but occasionally necessary.

Painting
A strong colour on a feature wall, creating an impressive colour-scheme.

Marbled columns:
Decorative plaster, painted to resemble marble columns adorning a private swimming pool.

Oak wood-graining:
A plaster beam, painted to look like an old oak beam, in this rustic kitchen.

Wiping back:
Adding an aged look to this Victorian staircase.

Plastering:
Occasionally going beyond the realms of a decorator, when necessary.

Wiping back:
Another example of wiping back; on a plaster dado rail.

Frottage:
Brightly coloured walls to add a touch of warmth to a cold W.C..

Oak wood-graining:
Lincrusta panels on a staircase grained (painted to resemble oak timber). .

Bagging, on radiator:

Stippling:
Dado stippled to match the colours of the paper border. .

Marbled bathroom:
Walls of a bathroom; Marbled, and reflected in mirror.

Wiped, to give an aged plaster look.

... on walls of a baby's bedroom/nursery.

Dining room:
Painted in traditional colours - in keeping with the period of the house.

Distressing:
Making a piece of furniture look aged, worn or weathered.
